Privacy policy

1. Who we are

This website, verantglobal.com, is operated by Verant Global LLC ("Verant Global", "we", "us"), a limited liability company organized in the State of Delaware, United States.

verantglobal.com presents our Enterprise IT division. Our Zoho Solutions division is presented at verantglobal.io, which is also operated by Verant Global LLC. verantglobal.io has its own privacy policy, which applies when you use that website.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit verantglobal.com, send us a message through a form, book a call, or email us about our services.

It does not cover information we handle when providing services to a client under a contract. That information is governed by the contract with that client.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and discovery forms: your first and last name, work email address, company, role, the area you are interested in, the division you choose, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Booking a call: your name, work email address, company, the time you choose, and your answers to the booking questions. Bookings are handled by Zoho Bookings on our behalf, once online booking is open.
  • Email: whatever you choose to share when you email us directly.

Please do not send passwords, personal information about other people, or other confidential information through the website forms.

Information collected automatically

  • Form context: when you send a form, it includes the website and page you sent it from. If the page address contains campaign tags (for example utm_source), those tags are sent too. This tells us how you found us and which division should reply.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider, Hostinger, records standard technical information when pages are requested: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. We use these logs to run and secure the website.
  • Spam protection: the forms include hidden fields used only to detect automated submissions. If we add a CAPTCHA or similar service when forms are switched on, we will name it in this policy first.

4. How we use information

  • To reply to your message, arrange and hold the call you book, and discuss the services you ask about.
  • To route your inquiry to the right division of Verant Global LLC.
  • To keep a record of our communications with you and of business relationships.
  • To operate, secure and improve this website, including detecting spam and misuse.
  • To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We send marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise allows, and every marketing email includes a way to opt out. We do not add people who contact us through this website to marketing email lists.

5. How we share information

  • Within Verant Global LLC: between the Enterprise IT and Zoho Solutions divisions, when that is needed to answer your inquiry.
  • Service providers that act on our instructions:
    • Zoho Corporation, for Zoho Forms, Zoho CRM and Zoho Bookings.
    • Our website hosting provider.
    • Our email provider.
    • Any spam-protection provider we use.
    These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Professional advisers: such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Legal reasons: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Verant Global, our clients or others.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

verantglobal.com does not currently set cookies for analytics or advertising. The website does not currently use analytics tools.

Once online booking is open, the embedded Zoho Bookings page may set cookies that it needs to work. These are governed by Zoho's own privacy policy. The same applies to any spam-protection service used with our forms.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

Links from verantglobal.com to our Zoho Solutions website at verantglobal.io include campaign tags (utm_source=verantglobal.com, utm_medium=referral and utm_campaign=division-switch). These tags show that you arrived from this website. They contain no personal information.

Links to other websites take you to sites we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply.

8. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage any resulting business relationship. After that, we delete or anonymize it, unless we must keep it longer for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Inquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.

9. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. Access to inquiries in our systems is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct or delete it;
  • stop sending you marketing emails.

Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under the privacy laws that apply to you, and we will honor them as those laws require. This website is intended for visitors in the United States.

To make a request, email legal@verantglobal.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and an authorized agent may make a request on your behalf where the law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

11. Children

This website is meant for business audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where information is processed

We are based in the United States. Our hosting and email providers may process information in the United States or in other countries where they operate.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will give more prominent notice.
