Engagement models

How we engage

Three engagement models, one way of working. Every model starts with an assessment and a written plan.

Three engagement models

Every service can be delivered through any of the three models.

Project delivery

Suits
A defined outcome: a migration, integration, platform build or new application.
How it runs
Fixed scope and milestones agreed in the plan stage. Changes go through a written change request so cost and timeline stay visible.
What you receive
A working outcome, documentation and the handover agreed in the plan.
How it ends
Launch, documentation and handover, or a move to managed services.

Managed services

Suits
Systems that need a named owner for monitoring, support, updates and planned improvements.
How it runs
A monthly plan with a defined support scope and a regular review of what changed and what is next, set out in the agreement.
What you receive
Regular reports on what changed, what is planned and what remains open.
How it ends
Runs for as long as it is useful, with notice terms set in the agreement.

Team extension

Suits
You have the plan and the leadership, and need more engineers or specialists to carry it out.
How it runs
Verant Global people join your team, work to your methods and report through your leads.
What you receive
Specialists working under your direction, with regular check-ins on fit and progress.
How it ends
Scaled up or down with agreed notice.

The models side by side

The main difference is who directs the work. Delivery standards, documentation and security practices are the same in all three.

The four stages of every engagement

The stages are the same in every model. What changes is who directs the work at each stage.

  1. Assess

We map your current systems, constraints and goals, and agree what a good outcome looks like before any work is priced.

  2. Plan

You get a scoped plan with milestones, team, costs and the decisions we will need from you, in writing.

  3. Deliver

We design, build, test and document the work, with regular reviews you can see and steer.

  4. Support

We can stay on to run, tune and extend what we built, or hand it over to your own team with documentation.

Moving between models

Engagements often change shape. An assessment becomes a project, a project moves to managed services after launch, or a team extension turns into a defined project. Any change of model is agreed in writing, with its own scope and terms.

How terms are set

Pricing, support responsibilities, staffing arrangements and contractual commitments are set out in each proposal and agreement, not on this website.

Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services on particular terms. The terms of use explain how this website may be used.

Common questions

Can we start with a small piece of work?

Yes. You can start with an assessment or a short discovery phase, with its own scope and terms, before any larger commitment.

Do you work alongside our existing vendors?

Yes. We can work with your current vendors and internal teams, with responsibilities agreed in writing at the start.

Who owns what is delivered?

Ownership of code, documentation and other work product is set out in each agreement and agreed before work starts.

How is confidential information handled?

We can put a mutual confidentiality agreement in place before detailed discussions. Please do not send confidential information through the forms on this website.

A discovery call is a working conversation about your systems and goals. You will leave with a clearer view of options, whether or not we work together.
